get a job doing nothing

A lady opens the door and steps inside. The cold air from outside blows past her before the door closes giving me a brief chill. She stomps the snow off her boots in the entry way and looks up past the registers at me. She's in her sixties and holding a plastic bag filled with things from other retail stores. Starts walking towards me and pulls a hankerchief from her coat pocket bringing it to her face. As she gets closer I notice tears falling from her eyes. She looks at me with a forced smile and asks how things are going. I tell her alright and ask her the same. She says fine and wipes the last tear away. Then she asks where she could find a book on how to enhance a sport cars engine. I tell her to try looking around upstairs. She says thanks, turns and walks away putting her hankerchief back into her coat pocket.
